New Graduate Student Orientation
    Where: Orientation - Student Union Ballroom

    When: 9:30-2:00pm - oritentation, Saturday, August 23rd

    Why: Learn about the SJSU MBA program and all it has to offer. Also get to know
    other
    incoming students, existing students, professors and staff.

    What: Informational orientation welcoming new students to our program

    How: Registration is already closed. Contact Cathy Dougherty if you would still like
    to attend, in case there are any cancellations

    Description: This is your chance to join the MBA program with a running start.
    Become familiar with the campus (with a campus tour), meet and greet professors
    and students, and also learn about the MBAA in case you'd like to join in the future!

Welcome Graduate Student, Happy Hour
    Where: Britannia Arms, Downtown San Jose

    When: 11:30am - 4:00pm, Saturday, August 30th

    Why: Relax and socialize a little with your new SJSU family! This is a time to meet
    people and socialize with students and faculty that will be joining you through your
    journey at SJSU. MBA Association officers will be there to answer any questions
    about the MBA program and what it has to offer!

    What: Fun and socializing at Britannia Arms after the Graduate Orientation.

    How: Come on down to Britannia Arms and have some fun with the MBA
    Association!  Appetizers will be provided for the first 20 students, but there is
    enough fun for all of you! The outside patio is reserved for the MBA Association
    happy hour, so come and join the fun!

    Description: An informal setting where new and existing MBA students can get to
    know each other. Some faculty may be present, so this is a great opportunity to get
    to know the people that you will see on campus during your MBA adventure at
    SJSU.

    Why: The beginning of the Semester is finally settling down, so it's time for a little
    MBA Association fun! Come relax with the MBA Association and get fired up for
    the rest of the semester.

    What: Informal Happy Hour to get better acquainted with the friends you have made
    at SJSU, and the rest of the people that are waiting to get to know you!

    How: Come on down to South First Billiards and have some fun with the MBA
    Association!  Appetizers will be provided for the first 20 students, but there is
    enough fun for everyone!

    Description: Now that you have met some people, had a few classes, and the
    semester is finally setting in...join the MBA Association for a little fun at South First
    Billiards. Join us for a time to unwind from your busy school week, and prepare for
    your weekend. What are you waiting for? Come join the fun!


    MBAA Wine Tasting Event

    When: Fri, Nov 7, 6p – 10pm

    Description: Please join the MBA Association at “A Perfect Finish” in San
    Jose for a great variety of wines and delicious food. There is a nominal fee
    of $10 for 3 full glasses of wine and a gourmet spread of appetizers. This
    event last year was very successful, so we encourage you to come out and
    mingle with your peers, colleagues, and friends of the program. This is a 21
    and older event. Please make sure to bring a valid ID.
